What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to dress in cocktail attire. Please keep in mind that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside so please dress accordingly.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we’ve chosen to make our celebration adults-only, with the exception of our family in the ceremony. We hope you enjoy a fun night out with us!

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

You can get to the venue by: - Driving: The venue is approx. a 40-60 min drive from Downtown Ottawa. Parking is available on-site for guests who choose to drive. You can also leave your car overnight, however we ask that you pick up your car by 12pm the following day. Please do not drink and drive! - Taking the Shuttle: We will be providing a complimentary shuttle that will bring guests to and from the venue. Pickup and drop off will be in downtown Ottawa (Exact time and location to be communicated at a later date). If you are planning to use the arranged shuttle service, please select "Yes" to the shuttle question on the wedding invitation.

When should I arrive on the wedding day?

Answer

We ask that guests arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony. The ceremony starts at 4:30 pm, so plan to arrive by 4pm.

Where will the reception take place?

Answer

After the ceremony. the reception will be held inside the venue.

Will there be drinks?

Answer

Yes! There will be plenty of wine, beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages to keep everyone refreshed!

What should I do if I have an allergy or dietary request?

Answer

We ask that you specify your dietary restrictions in you wedding invitation response.

Do you have a wedding gift registry?

Answer

Over the years, we’ve built a home and life together and feel we have everything we need. We have therefore decided not to have a traditional gift registry. If you would like to give a gift, a contribution toward our honeymoon would mean so much to us!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

We have a block of rooms set aside at the Lord Elgin Hotel (100 Elgin St.).
