By some combination of luck, fate, and dating app algorithms, we beat the odds and found each other. Somewhere between the sound of the waves, long beach walks, and the most beautiful sunsets, our story quietly began. Then came the distance between Chicago and New York City - long calls, endless laughs, cat pictures, and goodnight messages that somehow never stopped. Even with busy schedules and lives moving in different directions, we always found our way back to each other. Eventually, life brought us together in Peoria, where we started building our little family - which, of course, officially became complete once we adopted our cat, Fima. Over the years, we’ve been through just about everything together: exciting travels, residency stress, celebrations, sleepless nights, big milestones, hard moments, victories, and way too many exams. Through it all, we realized something simple but special - we make a really good team. We laugh together, support each other through every challenge, and somehow make even the craziest moments feel a little lighter.
