If you have some free time while you're in New Jersey, we highly recommend visiting Akshardham. We were completely amazed by the scale, beauty, and craftsmanship of the temple. The architecture is stunning, the grounds are peaceful, and it's a wonderful place to spend a few hours exploring and taking in the culture. It's one of our favorite places in the area and definitely worth the trip.
Liberty State Park

One of our favorite spots for views of the Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island. It's a beautiful place for a walk, photos, or simply enjoying the waterfront.
