It all started in AP Biology. Kenny had just transferred into Krisca's AP Bio class as a junior, while she was a sophomore. A friend (who, fun fact, is now one of our bridesmaids!) pointed Kenny out, and from then on Krisca made a habit of saying hello whenever she saw him just to mess with said friend. Kenny, of course, was convinced she was flirting and quickly became smitten. One day, we found ourselves randomly paired together for a genetics lab. While Kenny was so shy he didn't say a single word during the entire lab, he sent Krisca a Facebook friend request and a silly message later that evening. As it turned out, it was actually his 17th birthday that day. We ended up chatting until 3 a.m. that very first night and have been completely inseparable ever since. Over the last 13 years, we've had the privilege of growing up together. From high school sweethearts to soon-to-be husband and wife, we've spent over a decade side by side, choosing each other through every season, adventure, challenge, and celebration. What began with a Facebook message—and one unforgettable AP Biology lab—has grown into a lifetime of memories, and we can't wait to begin our next chapter as husband and wife.
