Both the ceremony and reception will take place at The Landing at Estes Park — same goes for the Welcome Party. How convenient!
The ceremony will take place outdoors, so we recommend flat-soled shoes or wedges to avoid sinking into the grass. The reception will follow indoors, just steps away on the same property at The Landing.
Wedding Day: Cocktail Welcome Party: Dressy Casual — think sundresses, khakis, and button-downs. More details on the Welcome Party: A chance to get settled and say hello to all our loved ones who traveled to celebrate with us! This casual outdoor gathering will have a food truck serving up a mix of our favorites—German classics and Austin-style tacos—along with beer, wine, and margaritas. Expect yard games, good company, and maybe a few toasts sprinkled in. Yeehaw!
Yes, we have two wedding blocks, one at Wildwood Inn and another at the Best Western Plus Silver Saddle Inn.
There will not be a shuttle from the hotels to the venue. However, you can take the Estes Park Shuttle (Brown Route) and get off at Stop 7: Elk Meadow Lodge & RV Resort, which is a short walk to The Landing. The shuttle runs until 9:00 PM. You can view the full route and schedule here: https://www.visitestespark.com/plan/getting-around/free-shuttle-buses/ If you’re joining us for the After Party, we’ll have a shuttle bus available to take guests from the venue to The Barrel. That same shuttle will also provide return rides to your rental or hotel until 2:30 a.m.
Estes Park has very limited Uber availability (we’ve heard there are only about two in the area), so we don’t recommend relying on rideshares throughout the weekend.
Free parking is available on-site, with space for up to 33 cars at the venue. If needed, nearby overflow parking will be available to accommodate additional vehicles.
Estes Park sits at over 7,500 ft elevation, so if you’re coming from lower altitudes, just take it easy your first day, stay hydrated, and maybe skip the shots at altitude (for a bit 😉).
Even if you’ve already purchased a general entry pass (like a day pass or an America the Beautiful annual pass), you’ll still need a timed entry reservation to enter the park during the day. These can go quickly, so we recommend booking in advance! Grab one here: https://www.recreation.gov/timed-entry/10086910
