Downtown Turlock
If you're looking for a place to eat, have a drink, and/or go out dancing---downtown Turlock has it all. Some of the best restaurants include: Center Street Bar & Grill, Memo's, La Mo, and First & Main (to name a few)!
Hiking & Adventures
Yosemite is about a 2-hour drive and totally worth it if you're looking to do some sightseeing or go on a hike. Knight's Ferry is also an awesome area to go hiking or rafting!

Wine Tasting
Vista Ranch in Merced is local and has some great scenery. Otherwise, there are several wine tasting options within 1-2 hours of Turlock/Hilmar! Some of my favorite areas to visit and taste include Murphys, Carmel, Lodi, Napa, Livermore, or Sutter Creek.
The Coast
If you're looking for a quick beach day or weekend get-away after the wedding, there are some nice spots along the coast within a 1-2 hour drive. Some places we enjoy are Carmel, Aptos, Monterey, or Santa Cruz. If you head that direction, don't forget to stop by Casa de Fruta for some food, wine tasting, and/or ice cream!
