We met as friends in Colorado during the Winter of 2011. Kris left Maryland a year before to head west and Grace moved from Iowa to Denver in the fall of 2010. Fate and luck turned friendship into love. Now, many years and adventures later, we have created a home together with our dogs, Sam and Millie. Two summers ago we got a 1963 Buick Wildcat named Birdie; and headed to the west coast on a ten day road trip. Our trip took us down many new roads, across deserts, up mountain passes, through forests and even through the heart of a giant redwood tree. We went to the ocean, across bays, bridges and to a beautiful seaside cliff off Route 1 in northern California where Kris proposed. The road trip brought challenges and breakdowns, but it's easy to carry on when you are on an adventure with the one you love. We are overjoyed to celebrate our marriage with you.
