Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who will be walking down the aisle with us.

Meredith Duda

Maid of Honor

Meredith is my younger sister of four years and my hero. Mere and I had a typical childhood with shouting, scratching and hair pulling... but it led to the strongest friendship of my life. I would and will do anything for my sister. I'll always feel like I have to protect her and guide her through life, but to be honest, she's taught me some of the most valuable lessons I've learned. She reminds me daily to always think the best of people, be positive and never give up. Meredith is my hero because she overcomes challenges with a genuine smile on her face. She's grown into a magnificent woman and I could not be prouder to have her by my side at our wedding. Cheers to the most supportive Maid of Honor out there! Love you Mere!

David Ferguson

Best Man

David and I have so many things is common, he even gave Christine a run for her money. Growing up just down the street from each other, we've spent an inordinate amount of hours together. From working summer jobs, to attending the same school, to traveling, we've always been a staple in each others lives. Even as life has taken us down different roads and we now live thousands of miles apart, our bond has never wavered. He's one of the most driven people I know and I would never bet against him, but his success has never overshadowed his core values. His love for his family, respect for all and loyalty to friends has been and always will be his defining traits.

Nikki Bettenburg

Bridesmaid

Nikki B is my beloved cousin. We’ve spent nearly every holiday together... forever. Some a little sloppy, but all so fun and memorable. Growing up with Bettenburg holidays are some of my fondest memories. Our family is truly something special and I am thankful for all the times we've shared. Nikki and I were both brought up through the Nativity and Cretin-Derham Hall school systems, which adds a lot more in common for us. Nikki is kind and loyal, but more than anything, I admire how much she cares for family. She is such a loving sister, daughter and niece and for that, I will always hold her in the highest regard. Oh also, I hope to be good enough to play golf with Nikki someday! Love you cuz.

Ben Crowell

Groomsman

Ben is one of the best people you will ever meet. Loyal, kindhearted and selfless are some of the virtues embedded in his DNA. We met through our shared love of volleyball in Denver; playing in countless tournaments, leagues and games together. However, the extent of our relationship has grown far past sports. We moved to Denver around the same time and have shared many experiences exploring Colorado and growing as adults. Whether its needing a sounding board, a plus one for an event or just a laugh, I know I can always turn to Ben for anything. I'm very proud of the man he is today and grateful to have him be apart of the wedding.

Kathryn Doh

Bridesmaid

Kathryn and I go back to diaper days. We grew up on the same street, Berkeley Ave., creating “champion-level” dance routines and weaseling our way into each others' family dinners and vacations. We played volleyball and basketball together throughout our entire youth. We evolved into adventurous women who drove Route 40 together through Patagonia. Kathryn always inspires me to be creative, inclusive and fun! She's full of life and can be found numerous times a day singing or dancing to an old school classic. Kathryn's heart is in Minnesota, but for now, she and her husband, David, currently have two beautiful children, Luccabella and Philip, in Sacramento, California. Love you always “boggo.”

Kenny Barr

Groomsman

I first met Kenny in Mr. Roth's social studies class as freshmen in high school. I knew we would be good friends, especially after convincing him to try out for the baseball team. In the end, I'm not sure if it was our resentment for Mr. Roth or love of baseball that galvanized our friendship, but I'm so thankful to have him in my life. From our senior road trip to CA, to representing CO at DECA Nationals, we share some of my favorite memories. You can't help but be uplifted by his infectious energy and positivity. I catch myself smiling anytime he comes to mind and always look forward to the next time we can reconnect and share a gut busting laugh. He is the constant reminder that life is about being happy, not serious. I'm honored that he will be by my side for the next step in my life.

Annie King Nichols

Bridesmaid

First, Annie and I walked everyday to and from elementary school together. Second, she drove me to each day of high school, and I’ll forever be in debt to her (not so much for the gas, but because I made her/us late about nine out of ten days). Annie and I also played basketball together as we grew up; we lived for the weekend tournaments! St. Paul Basketball provided us with some of the best humor of our lives. Annie went to Loyola and always hosted us when we wanted a fun Chicago weekend! She is super smart and taught me some invaluable lessons. I’ll always be thankful to have her as a close friend. Annie is married to James and they happily live in Chicago with their sweet son, Joey.

Spencer Page

Groomsman

We all need a friend like Spencer. Someone with no filter, unpredictable and leaves everyone on edge for what's next. He is the spice of life. Although his sloth-like movements and stoic emotional responses may leave you perplexed at first, his big heart and happy-go-lucky mentality will keep you coming back for more. Notwithstanding his signature "Spencer Guarantee" (holding steady at about 3% accuracy), Spencer is as honest and grounded as they come. He's always willing to offer a helping hand and truly cares about the well-being of others. I'm lucky to have have him in my life and a part of the ceremony.

Rachel Berman

Bridesmaid

I met Rachel at the University of Denver, she was in the dorm across the hall from me and we instantly got along. She was quiet and shy... some might say the yin to my yang. She and I learned some ha-maxing line dances at the Grizzly Rose and experienced the exciting Resident Assistant (RA) life together. Rachel is a Colorado gal through and through. Born and raised in Highlands Ranch, she skis in winter, mountain bikes for the summer (much with her loving family) and loves every minute of it! Rachel has given me many ski tips through our years, and I am very grateful. I am also grateful because Rachel is a trusted friend who listens to my drama and does not judge. Thank you Rachel!

Clora Means

Bridesmaid

Clora is a close friend from the infamous Colorado volleyball scene. Many leagues and tournaments have strengthened our friendships. She is an incredible woman who stays more organized than all of us combined, despite her soon-to-be family of five. Clora is our energetic party planner and daaang, she does a great job! Her spunky, confident attitude are so much fun to be around and we admire her strong moral compass to do the right thing. Clora loves (understatement) Disney and Harry Potter, which only add to the fun she brings! Her smile is contagious, and she always sees the glass half full. She’s been there for our entire relationship so we can’t wait to share our wedding day with her too!

Cassandra Sadusky

Bridesmaid

Cassie is a fabulous woman with such a kind soul. Our relationship started out professional at Western Union, but quickly turned into a true friendship because Cassie genuinely cares and goes out of her way for others. She’s been generous to us countless times in the few years we’ve known her, and she’ll be a lifelong friend of both Kris’ and mine. Cassie is also a supportive friend. She has my back and I know I can approach her with any topic. I appreciate that maturity in our friendship and I respect Cassie for being open-minded and positive. Oh, did I mention that Cassie loves margaritas, dancing and karaoke... if the above didn’t already, this makes her a perfect friend of ours.
