FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than March 20, 2025.

Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress code is Black-tie optional. Traditional wear like barongs (Filipino formal shirt) and Filipinianas (Filipino formal dress) are encouraged but not required!

Question

What is a Catholic Nuptial Mass?

Answer

A Catholic Mass is a two thousand year old traditional service (usually attended weekly by practicing Catholics) involving readings from the Bible, a sermon from the Priest, and the receiving of the Eucharist. Our wedding ceremony includes a Catholic Mass, so you can expect a longer service (plan for around an hour) as well as a more reverent atmosphere. All are welcome to participate and don't worry, we will have handouts to explain everything at the church. You are always welcome to ask your neighbor if you're lost.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" during the mass as it is a sacrament of the Catholic church. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we do have an official hotel block with a special discounted rate. Please visit the Travel tab for more info on booking.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

For the ceremony there is ample parking in the church parking lot. For the reception, there is parking available at Camden County Boathouse as well as on-street parallel parking on North Park Drive. Parking is permitted in the Executive Office Building parking lot across the street from the Camden County Boathouse after 5:00 PM.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. However, we encourage you to use this evening as a "night out" for yourself!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What gift would you like?

Answer

We greatly appreciate your presence at our wedding. However, if we will be honored with a gift from you, we humbly request a monetary gift for the wedding day. Under the “Registry” tab you may find our specific Cash Funds to which you could contribute to specific gifts and/or experiences to us as a newly wedded couple. If you wish to issue a check, please put it in the name of “Kristian Quevada” OR “Maria Isabella Syquia”

Question

I have a food allergy and/or dietary restriction. Can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please include any dietary restrictions when making your RSVP and/or email us at quevadasyquia@gmail.com

Question

Will alcohol be served at the Reception?

Answer

Yes! We will have a selection of beer and wine for the guests to enjoy at cocktail hour and during the reception.

Question
