Lisbon - Humberto Delgado Airport
Lisbon Airport will have better prices when flying to Portugal rather than Faro. From this airport you can easily reach trains/buses to get to the lodge. The Alfa Pendular train is a high speed train that connects all major cities in Portugal. For about 30$ the train can take you from Lisbon to Lagos in approximately 4 hr. Alternatively, The bus can also take you from Lisbon to Lagos in 4 hr. for only about 15$ The most common bus companies are RedeExpressos, Rodonorte and Eva Transportes.

Expedia also shows good deals through companies like SIXT, Guerin, Alamo, enterprise, etc.. Also, you don't need an international driver's license (IDP) to drive in Portugal if you're a citizen of the United States or another European Union country and you're staying for less than six months. However, an IDP can be a good idea to have in case you're pulled over or involved in an accident.
