Scott and I were enjoying time with our family and friends at Eagle Cliff campground in Lanesboro, MN. We both had tubing down the river on our agendas for the day. About 3/4 down the river, we met for the first time! With liquid courage and dares from our friends, Jess yelled across the river to Scott's group. After many words were exchanged, Jess asked "Who is single?!' Without hesitation, every person pointed at Scott (or Lloyd which I only knew him as at this point.) I giggled and said "Perfect, my next victim!" We went our separate ways until he came out of the river later on that day. He came up to where we were camping, met my parents and we kept the party going! We then decided to head up to where his family was camping and I met his parents. What a weekend! He invited me to Elysian the next weekend, my friends and family were not thrilled I was driving out of town to meet a stranger. I met the Noble family and we had a great weekend! Fast forward to September 25th, 2021, Scott had drove up to spend Thursday night with me before going on his infamous Ryder Cup weekend. Before he was heading out, he said "We are dating, right?!" I said " Well I deleted all my dating apps but you haven't asked me yet." He laughed and assumed he didn't have to ask. He eventually did and I said "yes!" I'm sure he talked the boys ears off that weekend about how he finally had a girlfriend (sorry, boys!) From there, I sold my house in North St Paul and on August 12th, 2021, we closed on our dream home in Lakeville! After unloading a full trailer and showing the house to some of my family, Scott got on his knee and asked if I would be his wife. Once again, I said "Yes!" We then sold his house in Mankato and have enjoyed making the new house our home! We spent many weekends traveling back and forth from North St Paul to Mankato so we are happy and grateful to be where we are now! Next step: Get Hitched!
