Chris and Megan met in 2010 at the young age of 15. As we entered High School, our friend groups merged. Naturally, we ended up spending a lot of time together: couch hangs, taco bell trips, and Halo: Combat Evolved sum it up pretty well. We grew apart after we graduated in 2013, giving us both the opportunity to grow as individuals. In 2017, our worlds collided again and we started to hang our every day, alongside our dear friend Darian. From gym sessions to occasional drunk hangs and a lot of heart-to-heart convos, we easily became the best of friends again. Completely platonic. No secret yearning. In July of 2018, however, the tides began to shift. To keep our long story short: we started to fall in love. On October 9th, 2018, Chris asked Megan to be his girlfriend. From 2018 through 2026, life has been a whirlwind. Here is a quick summary of all the happy milestones they've been through while dating: -Fall 2018 - Megan moved to Torresdale where Chris would later join her -Fall 2019 - Chris started at Temple University -Summer 2020 - Megan adopted Brownie -Spring 2021 - Megan left public accounting and started in private accounting -Fall 2021 - We sadly lost Brownie but ended up adopting our girls: Mika and Honey -Winter 2022 - Chris completed his Temple career -Spring 2022 - Chris graduated with his Bachelor's degree -Fall 2023 - Chris and Megan bought their first house together and Megan completed her first half marathon -Summer 2024 - Chris took a solo trip to Japan (first time traveling internationally and he hopes to take Megan there someday) -Spring 2025 - Chris proposed to Megan in Alaska (completely surprised her) -Summer 2025 - We found our wedding venue and Megan found her dress -Fall 2025 - We found our kitten and named him Opal, Chris completed his first half marathon, and Megan completed her first (and probably only) full marathon In 2026, we get married! If the two of us went back in time to our 15-year-old selves and told them that we're engaged, neither would believe us. But we are so happy and grateful to have one another. And we look forward to spending our celebration of love with all of you!
