When should I RSVP by?

Is there a dress code for the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Cocktail attire is the dress code for our wedding ceremony and reception. We love Athens in springtime so please consider celebrating our marriage and the beginning of the season with fun colors, florals, or whatever brings you joy.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to space constraints, we can only accommodate named guests on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are big fans of all your children, sincerely. But, we’ve decided to have an adults-only celebration. Thank you for your understanding and willingness to make arrangements.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Trolleys from the Rivet House and Holiday Inn Express will be available to take you to and from the venue. There is also parking available if you would prefer to drive or use a rideshare app. For the ceremony, the trolleys will arrive at each hotel at 4:30 pm and depart right around 4:45. Downtown Athens will have several streets blocked off for a music festival so we wanted to give everyone an earlier pick up option. There will be refreshments available when you arrive at the Hill. A trolley will be available to return guests to their hotels beginning at 8:30 pm and ending at 10:30 pm.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive between 5:00-5:15 pm. The wedding ceremony starts at 5:30 pm.

Are the wedding ceremony and reception outdoors or indoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors in a sunken garden, and there will be times where you may walk on gravel or grass. Please take this into consideration when you pick your shoes. There will, however, be transportation assistance (i.e., golf carts) as needed. The reception will be outside but under a large tent. There will also be heaters if the weather at night is cold.

Do I need to bring cash/card to any wedding event?

Answer

Not for the wedding celebration! The wedding celebration on Saturday is completely open bar! No need for card or cash 🤗 The Friday night welcome party is an open bar for beer, wine, and soft drinks. Cocktails and hard liquor are a cash bar. Snacks are provided!
