John & I were introduced on August 25th, 2018 at one of our dear friend's 30th birthday party. I don't think saying "Love at first sight" is appropriate, but "Love at first kiss" fits perfectly! After meeting that first evening & enjoying a middle school throwback night, I texted my friend Clarissa & told her "I am going to marry that man", & here we are!! We have been inseparable ever since.

John got down on one knee after our half-marathon training run, down in Cowiche Canyon. It was a very relaxed, low-key proposal which is absolutely fitting for the couple that we are!
