Ava and Alex’s story began in November 2017, when their families traveled to Washington, D.C., to cheer on their younger brothers at a soccer tournament. What started as two older siblings supporting their brothers quickly turned into an inseparable infatuation with one another. From wandering around museums and monuments to venturing out to a Pizza Hut dinner “date,” it was obvious to everyone around them that there was a special connection between the two. - Alex and Ava built on that connection once they returned to Peachtree City, with golf cart rides around town, study dates before and after school, and baking Christmas cookies. They started officially dating on January 1, 2018. - After high school, one year of long distance, and three years in Athens together, they celebrated college graduation with a two-week trip to France. On the second day of their trip, Alex proposed on top of the Eiffel Tower—Ava’s dream. The rest of the trip was filled with movie-like moments. Once they returned home, the two of them started jobs in Atlanta. Now, after a long engagement and moving in together in Midtown Atlanta, Alex and Ava are ready to start their life together and say “I do” in front of their closest friends and family in their beloved college town of Athens, Georgia.
