 Dallas Arboretum  Botanical gardens with views of White Rock Lake. 

Lower Greenville & Knox/Henderson  Great neighborhoods with lively patios and bars to catch the day's sporting events.

 State Fair of Texas  If you’re up for a true Texas experience—giant turkey legs, fried everything, and carnival fun.
