Lauren and Andrew had lived in the same city for most of their lives, but had somehow never officially met until a Sunday afternoon in May of 2018. It was May 6th to be exact, and Lauren’s parents had decided to go watch the Bruins game at Tony’s Pub and convinced Lauren to reluctantly go along with them. Shortly after, Andrew and his friend entered the bar and quickly scanned around for seats to watch the game. There were only 2 empty seats at the time and they happened to be right next to Lauren. While walking to the seats Andrew noticed Lauren and it was at that moment that the Bruins game became less interesting. Andrew’s friend broke the ice and struck up conversation and spent a lot of time talking with her parents which gave Andrew a perfect opportunity to talk to Lauren and get to know her. Conversation happened easily and there was a quick chemistry between the both of them. After a couple hours of talking and getting to know Lauren and her parents, Lauren and her parents left the bar. Andrew knew that there was something special about Lauren and he couldn’t stop thinking about her. After making the mistake of not getting her number at the bar, he decided to look her up and send her a message. Luckily for him she was feeling the same way, and quickly messaged back with her number. Although Lauren and Andrew were nervous for their first date, it went better than both of them could have hoped for. It was soon followed by a 2nd date, and then a 3rd, and a 4th, and so on. After a few months of dating Andrew finally told Lauren that he loved her, and she told him that she loved him too. On November 29th 2019, Andrew hid a ring on a Christmas ornament with a message asking Lauren if she would marry him. While decorating the Christmas tree, Lauren opened the ornament and read the message and saw the ring. After confusion, and disbelief, she finally said yes and made Andrew the happiest person in the world.
