Come in a day early and relax on the beach where Kim spent so many of her summers and Jacob learned how to kick back a little. Head over to the boardwalk for plenty of food and ice cream options.
My Kitchen Witch
Our favorite brunch spot on the shore! Started by a film and TV caterer, this small cafe has cute, witch-themed decor and delicious breakfast and lunch foods. Don’t miss the biscuits with strawberry butter!
Restaurant Diomede
The Krauses and the Premingers had a delicious seafood dinner here the weekend after Jacob and Kim got engaged. Don’t be fooled by the generic “Seafood Restaurant” awning — you’ve made it to the right place! It’s small, so we recommend you make a reservation, and it’s BYOB so plan ahead!
Coney Waffle, Ice Cream and Sweet Shop
The picture says it all. We celebrated our engagement with a Sideshow Shake — it took a team to finish it! Bring your own team to give it a try or go for something a little less extreme.
Asbury Park
Made famous by Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi, Asbury Park is a great place to spend the afternoon or evening. There are plenty of great restaurants, unique shops, and sights to see on and beyond the boardwalk.
Silverball Museum
“Museum” is a bit of a misnomer: this place features decades of pinball machines, and you can play all of them! Just pay a small admission fee and you have free reign of all of the machines (and other arcade games, like Skee Ball) and you can play to your heart’s content.
