Answer

We've reserved hotel blocks at theWit (Hilton) and Holiday Inn (IHG)—both conveniently about a 7‑minute walk from the reception venue. Check out the 'Travel' page on our website for more details.

Answer

That’s totally fine! We just ask that you arrive at either hotel block if you’d like to be picked up by one of the shuttles. Otherwise, you will need to request an Uber or Lyft to take you to the church. If you do this, please make sure to plan accordingly as there's always traffic!

Answer

Yes! We’ll have two shuttles running from theWit and Holiday Inn to take guests from the hotels to the church. After the ceremony, all guests—even those not staying at the hotel blocks—are welcome to use the shuttles. You can choose to be dropped off at the Riverfront to grab a drink before cocktail hour or at either hotel block. If you decide to stay near the church, you’ll need to drive or take an Uber/Lyft to the reception. We won’t be providing transportation after the reception, as both hotel blocks are within a short walking distance from the venue.

Yes! We’re asking guests to dress for the occasion—black-tie optional attire is requested. For men, suits are encouraged, though tuxedos are absolutely welcome if you have one (or want an excuse to wear one!). Most of our wedding party will be in suits. For women, we kindly request floor-length dresses or elevated midi dresses.

We kindly ask that women avoid wearing dresses that are primarily white, ivory, cream, or other very light colors that could appear white. We believe the bride should be the only one in white :) Thank you for helping us keep this moment special!

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors.

We adore your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration (with the exception of our wedding party). We hope you enjoy a fun weekend to yourselves!

We expect mild spring weather, though it can be breezy (we are the Windy City, after all!). All events will be indoors, but if you’d like, bring a light wrap or jacket for comfort. Please note, we won’t be offering a coat check.
