In August of 2009, Jenn and Jesse met at a mutual friend’s summer bon fire. Jenn had just returned from the beach, and Jesse most likely just returned from the basketball court. They hit it off from the start, and they soon went on their first date—kayaking at Core Creek Park. They haven’t left each other’s side since! Jesse attended Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA, while Jenn went to West Chester University of Pennsylvania. They spent weekends visiting each other’s schools—attending basketball games, meeting new friends, and of course sampling the local Indian cuisine. In 2015, Jenn and Jesse were both employed as full-time teachers in local districts, so they moved into their first apartment together in Ambler, PA. They loved spending time exploring downtown Ambler and became regulars at a neighborhood Indian restaurant (noticing a pattern here?). In 2017, Jenn and Jesse began the process of house hunting. It was a long and complicated road, but they eventually found the perfect place to settle down and call home in Willow Grove, PA. No new Indian restaurants yet, but luckily Ambler is a short drive away! The day after moving into their new home, Jesse was insisting on carving a pumpkin on the front porch. Jenn, having a bad case of the “Sunday Scaries”, decided to stay inside and watch the Eagles game instead. After about an hour of pumpkin carving, Jesse called Jenn out to the front porch to view his creation. When Jenn went outside, Jesse was holding a pumpkin carved in the shape of a heart and had a ring in his hand. He got down on one knee and asked Jenn to spend forever with him. She said “YES!” Jenn and Jesse’s friend (the same friend who hosted the bonfire where they first met), was hiding in a parked car out front and captured the whole moment on camera. He will also be marrying them on March 23rd! Jenn and Jesse are so excited to share this special time with family and friends! Let’s get Krazy!
