If your time and budget allow, we recommend arriving in Paris by May 22nd and spending the night before heading to the chateau on May 23rd. However, if you are able to get an early flight on May 23rd this can also work. If you haven't visited Paris before, we highly recommend you extend your trip beyond our weekend to explore the beautiful city.
We are renting out the entirety of the Château de la Huberdière for our guests from May 23 to May 26. If you choose to spend extra days in Paris before/after the wedding weekend then you will be responsible for booking your own accommodation. We will be staying at the Mercure Paris Eiffel Tower Grenelle and you are more than welcome (but definitely not required) to join us there - check out the "Travel" section of the website for details.
We understand that an international wedding can be a big financial burden and we appreciate your willingness to make the sacrifice to celebrate with us. We are covering accommodations from May 23 to May 26, and during those dates breakfast and dinner will also be provided for you. We will also be renting several cars for the group. You will need to cover your own flights, trains and any additional hotel stays before or after the wedding weekend.
Unfortunately, we have limited space in the chateau and we cannot open the invitations to "plus-ones" at this time.
Comfortable clothing and shoes for walking around town on Saturday, your formal attire for the wedding day, athletic clothing if you want to participate in the yoga class, and a don't forget a swimsuit for the pool! Other suggestions: Cute pajamas or robe for "getting ready" pictures and European plug adapters (be sure to check any hair tools for voltage compatibility)
