They met in choir at Evergreen Community College. He was just the long-haired guy in the back to whom Doc would say, "Open your mouth!" And she was just the weird redhead who sang loud enough for the other altos to follow along. They barely even noticed each other and didn't realize they even knew each other when they met again. They met again at San Jose State University. He was her copy editor on the paper. She was just a writer who drove him home occasionally. They had their first kiss in the San Jose State parking garage. (Romantic, they know.) Their first date was to 4th Street Pizza. It was a short romance and they parted ways as friends. In October of 2016, Angelo and Kristen went out to dinner together and pressed resume on their friendship. On November 14, 2016, Angelo asked Kristen to go see the Supermoon in Santa Cruz. She was a Science teacher at the time and needed to observe it, so she was excited to say yes. They got to Santa Cruz and the fog completely blocked out the moon, so they drove to an off-shoot of Bear Creek Road to observe the moon there. They shared their second first kiss that night, and started dating again. They have been together ever since and Angelo proposed on The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland (in the room with the murderous bride) on March 26, 2019. Guess what?! She said yes! They are super excited to be getting married on their anniversary, November 14, 2020. And they lived happily ever after!
