We're Getting Married!

We met in high school when Jordan was a senior and I was a sophomore. Coincidentally, we also shared a place of employment at Texas Roadhouse. Jordan and I communicated in small amounts during this time in high school and continued to talk occasionally after he graduated. These encounters were not romantic until I was days away from my first year of college at Purdue Fort Wayne. Jordan and I reconnected in Fort Wayne, Indiana - where we both lived - and he asked me to dinner at Dos Margaritas for our first official date. Obviously, it was nothing short of wonderful as we continued to spend a few days a week together until we established a deep relationship. After meeting each other's families, going on a family vacation together, seeing the other go through trials of tribulations and excitement in all parts of life, Jordan and I came to an equal understanding that we wanted to take our relationship to the next level: Get married! Yes, some people think we're too young, however, we have found the person we want to spend the rest of our lives with. When you have found the person you want to spend the rest of your life with, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible. You see, Jordan and I consider ourselves best friends. We know we will support, respect, and encourage each other while continuously striving to love each other as God loved us, and raise our future children to know God as He knows them. To be in a relationship with my best friend, a brother in Christ, and know I get the privilege to marry him with our friends, family, and God as our witness is a dream come true. -Brianna
