How We Met

Go Pack Go!

Back in the Packer season 2013, I had moved to the Green Bay area to conduct an internship with Brown County. I took a position as a hostess at Curly's Pub and Grill, which is now known as 1919 Kitchen and Tap located within Lambeau Field. Tony had been working for the company for about 11 years. Near the end of 2014 season, I had gone into the kitchen to talk to him about an order I placed. I commented on the music that was playing back there, and he made fun of my tattoo stating that he could probably wash it off with a scrubbie. Over the next several months we would talk every once in a while. In January 2015, Curly's announced they were closing down to rebrand to 1919 Kitchen and Tap, and at that point I felt a little sad that I would not get to chat anymore with a new friend. well that all changed when he accepted my friend request on Facebook about seven months later. We started to message and grew closer until we made our relationship official on September 1, 2017, I knew in that moment that he was the ONE, even if he didn’t realize it yet <3

Falling In Love

Time After Time

After Tony moved in with me, November 2017 we were surprised to find out I was expecting! He took the news way better than expected, and I fell in love with him even more than I was before. As time went on we grew even closer, I could tell he was going to be an amazing father! July 2018 we welcomed our perfect little bundle Luna Celeste. She was just what we needed, even if we didn't quite know it just yet. Jump forward to January 2020 - We bought our first home together! Life with Tony has been filled with so many positive things. We have helped each other grow into better versions of ourselves and we wouldn't have it any other way.

The Proposal

When in Vegas!

June 17th, 2020 - We packed our bags and flew to Vegas for a 5 day adventure to celebrate my 30th birthday. This was our first trip together, just him and I. It was the most perfect way to spend my birthday. We had Shake Shack for dinner and then hung out in the hotel room because I was worn out from traveling. June 18th - With Covid-19, not everything in Vegas was open for us to enjoy, so we planned out our day and set out to enjoy ourselves. We had two places we wanted to go, and the first one once we got there, found out that we needed a reservation, so our plans fell through. We walked over to Fremont Street... Total bust! It was boring so we got an Uber back to the Hotel to get lunch and figure out what on earth are we going to do now?! I was texting my mother at the time and she suggested the gondola ride at the Venetian. So that is what we did! We walked down the Vegas strip and figured out if we wanted the indoor or outdoor ride. After getting lost inside the Venetian, and seeing how noisy it was in there, we opted for the outside boat ride, it was peaceful and more romantic. We get outside, we pay for our ticket and wait for our turn. Our boat guide was such a great guy! Telling us some history about the real Venetian, how it is tradition to kiss under the bridge for good luck. So we kissed, twice. Then made our way to a tower, where a woman serenaded us with a love song in Italian. [Our guide explained this to us.] As we made our way back to the gate. Tony looks at me and says "How long have we been together?" I reply "Almost 3 years" tony - "Almost 3 years huh? I have a question for you." [he digs in his pocket] "Will you marry me?" - of course I said YES! and cried. Then he told me more about the ring. It turns out that the ring was custom made using the same diamonds from my grandmother's wedding ring. I cried more. Best Birthday Ever. <3
