Question

What time should we be there?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m on June 9. We kindly ask guests to arrive 15-20 minutes prior

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Can I bring a Date?

Answer

Oh la la. In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Whats the food situation?

Answer

We have decided not to have a traditional sit down dinner - more time for mingling and dancing! We will be hosting a "cocktail style" reception immediately following the ceremony. There will be heavy passed hors d'oeuvres followed by a large Crudite table, and of course - open bar!

Can I take pictures and/or post photos of your wedding on social media?

Answer

Of course! we encourage it! we ask that you remember to use the hashtag #krahsmyheart when posting so we can go back later and look at all of the wonderful photos!

Will Transportation between Venues and to/from the Hotel Be Available for Out of Town Guests?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation to and from the hotels due to the fact both of the hotels we chose are walking distance from the venue! Convenient we know! If you choose to get an airbnb we recommend choosing somewhere in the Williamsburg area so you may also take advantage of walking:)

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be taking place outdoors, since it is an evening wedding we recommend dressing accordingly as it may get chilly! Tents will be in place if the weather isn't in our favor, but hey they say if it rains on your wedding day it's good luck!

Will parking be available?

Answer

One of the beautiful things about Brooklyn is all the street parking! Since the wedding takes place on the weekend the street cleaning will not be in effect making your parking experience much more enjoyable. Feel free to leave your car parked for the duration of your stay and take advantage of being able to walk everywhere you need (or there's always uber). If you prefer to leave your car in a garage there are a few in the Williamsburg area.
