For those not familiar with traveling in Colorado, please keep in mind that we are over a mile above sea level! Lots of water, electrolyte drinks such as Gatorade or Skratch, and sunscreen are a must in the summertime. To best prepare, start drinking LOTS of water a few days prior to travel, and continue hydrating very well while here in town. PLEASE NOTE: Alcohol affects many people differently at high altitude. Please keep this in mind while enjoying the open bar!
The weather in early August tends to have a high in the upper 80s to low 90s, which cools off in the evenings to a comfortable mid-low 70s. The ceremony will be held outdoors, so we recommend checking the weather forecast before traveling.
Cocktail attire. The ceremony will take place outdoors on a grassy lawn, so please keep this in mind when choosing your footwear.
There are ample transportation options available for getting from DIA to your accommodations. However, Lyons is a small mountain town with limited transportation options. We recommend renting a car at DIA, as Uber and Lyft rides will be more expensive and possibly unavailable after the wedding to get from Lyons back to your accommodations. There is ample parking available at the venue. PLEASE NOTE: Cyclists are common in the Boulder/Lyons area, please keep an eye out for cyclists on the road as you travel in and around Boulder.
The doors will open at 5:00pm, and the ceremony will begin at 5:30pm. Please plan to arrive no later than 5:20pm. Any guests arriving after the ceremony begins will not be allowed into the venue until after the ceremony has finished.
Due to venue restrictions, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on your invitation.
