We Are Married!

On the brisk day of February 16th, Kourtney thought Bill was just taking her on a weekend trip to Cape May for Valentine’s Day and her birthday. They spent the early part of their day drinking wine and planning out their trip in the lovely rental home they had the pleasure of staying in for the weekend. Bill kept his jacket on the whole time even though it was pretty warm inside the house, Kourtney thought it was weird because he is ALWAYS hot but perhaps he was starting to get sick! They planned to go to Higbee Beach because it is supposedly haunted and Kourtney loves the paranormal. First they stopped at their favorite sandwich shop in Cape May and then headed on over to the beach. While walking down the beach Kourtney remembered reading about Cape May diamonds somewhere, so they started searching. Bill told Kourtney he had to tell her something but that she was going to be very upset, Kourtney thought he was messing with her as he always pulls this trick on her and never actually has anything bad to say! But Bill then stopped walking and got down on one knee to ask Kourtney to marry him. Kourtney could not believe it was FINALLY happening! She kept laughing and crying and couldn’t stop hugging him for about ten minutes before she finally said the word YES. It was the most nerve wracking, amazing, magical moment in both of their lives. They spent the night laughing, crying, and celebrating with more wine and cheesecake!
