We're Getting Married!

Robbie and I met at the sweet, awkward age of 11 years old. We instantly hit it off because of our matching bushy brunette locks and bangs. His first words to me were, "Hey girl, are you Italian?" ...smooth right? Later on that week, he asked me to be his "date" to the first dance of sixth grade year. I turned him down, but we remained friends for many years. Close friends... Who occasionally flirted... Okay, flirted a lot, but never did anything about it. Finally, everything kinda just fell into place in October of our senior year of high school. From the minute we became a couple, we've known it was forever. Three and a half years after our relationship began, Robbie took me up to Boone for a date night. We went to Bella's, one of our favorite restaurants. After our meal, we drove over to the Blue Ridge Parkway, like we typically do whenever we go to Boone or Blowing Rock. I was taking some photos of the beautiful view and decided to snap a few of Robbie. Before I knew it, he dropped to one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. I am so incredibly thankful that I found my love at such a young age. June 12th, 2020 cannot come soon enough! - Kourtney ..... Well, this sucks. In April of 2020, we made the extremely difficult decision to postpone our wedding for a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As heartbreaking as this decision was for us, we could not imagine the possibility of our guests not feeling safe at our wedding. At the end of the day, we have God to thank for our health and the health of our family and friends. We are incredibly blessed! June 18th, 2021 can absolutely not come soon enough for us! - Kourtney
