Answer

Garden Attire: Wear sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and fun hats. Please refrain from wearing White, solid Eucalyptus dresses and French Blue Suits.

The ceremony starts at 4 pm but please arrive 15 minutes early to find seats before the ceremony starts.

Cocktail hour starts at 5 pm with dinner starting at 6 pm.

Both will be held at The Barn at Brophy Creek Farm located at 3653 240th St, DeWitt, IA 52742.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Although we adore your little ones, we are having a CHILD-FREE CEREMONY, but children are more than welcome to attend the reception!

Is it alright to post photos of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We are asking our guests to be present with us and be unplugged for the ceremony, but don't worry! There will be plenty of opportunities to take photos at the reception which can be posted to social media.

What is the parking situation?

Answer

There is a very large grass parking lot that will have plenty of space for all our guests!

Where should I go once I arrive at the venue?

Answer

If you are joining us for the ceremony, please head to the green house. If you are joining us for the reception, please head to the barn.

What is the menu?

Answer

We are having a buffet with options of roast beef, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, corn, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, potato salad, mixed fruit, and Oreo fluff/salad.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We are not having an open bar and the venue does not carry any hard liquor, but we will have wine slushes, a variety of canned alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
