In 2018, I was living in Oregon and frequently traveling across the country for work. Joe was living in Naperville, Illinois, also working as a traveling trainer for Albertsons Companies. During my final week of a two-month assignment in Boston, we crossed paths for the first time—we happened to be placed on the same team. The two of us connected quickly, spent time together after work, and went on our first date two days later. When the week ended, we each headed off to our next assignments... but we never stopped talking. A month later, Joe flew out to Oregon to visit me. It was his first time seeing what he called 'mountains'—though to us locals, they're more like hills. During that trip, I introduced him to the beauty of the Pacific Northwest... and, as it turned out, he started falling in love for both the region and me. After eight months of long-distance, Joe packed up and made Oregon his home. On our one-year anniversary, we celebrated in the best way possible—by getting the keys to our first home together. It was the start of a new chapter, built on a year full of travel, early-morning calls, and a lot of love. In 2020, we welcomed our sweet, fluffy Aspen into our lives, and together, we’ve turned our home into something truly special—a place filled with laughter, memories, and love. In October 2023, just over five years after we first met, Joe and I flew back to Boston—the place where it all began. While walking through the Boston Public Garden, surrounded by fall colors and memories, he got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. --- From chance meetings on the road to building a life—and a home—together, our story has been anything but ordinary. It’s been shaped by distance, adventure, and an unwavering connection. As we look ahead to forever, we’re incredibly grateful for every step that brought us here—and for each and every one of you who has been by our side over the past seven years. Thank you for being part of our journey and for celebrating our big day with us!
