Like most traditional love stories we met on bumble. Soon after we decided to grab a drink at a place called little Woodrow’s after work. That following weekend we were inseparable laughing, talking, and discussing what we each wanted out of life and for our futures, we discussed our family’s and childhoods. Quickly Sunday rolled around which meant our weekend of laughs was over before leaving Andrew asked me to be his girlfriend to which I of course said yes, not knowing what our future would hold.
We decided to spend my birthday weekend camping little did I know I would get the gift of a lifetime, my grandmothers gorgeous wedding ring she passed down. While fishing in Shaffer Bend park I hear “Emma” I turn around to see him down on one knee fiddling with something in his hands unknowingly I saw just exactly what it was, of course that commenced the ugly crying most of us ladies do and Andrew never wavering asked “Emma will you marry me?” Through tears and laughter of disbelief it was happening I exclaimed ‘YES!’ And the rest was history.
