Dahlonega’s historic public square is one of the most charming little towns! There are plenty of shops, galleries, restaurants, and entertainment spots. It's one of our favorite spots to enjoy when we are up in North GA.
North Georgia Premium Outlets is an outdoor Georgian-style village located 14 miles south of Dahlonega on Highway 400. They have over 100 outlet designer and name-brand outlet stores.
If you're into golf, there is a public course about 11 miles south of Dahlonega. Rates slightly vary depending on the day and time, but typically it's about $80-$90 for a round. Another course that's near Dahlonega is Achasta Golf Community. It's 3 miles from the square, runs about $120 for a round and they allow non-members.
