The ceremony is indoors with limited seating, and the reception will be outdoors.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony commencement.

Is there transportation provided to and from the wedding?
Answer
Yes, there will be shuttles provided for guests from the Church in Assos to the reception venue in Sami and back to Assos town at the end of the night. Are children invited to the events?
Answer
While we adore your little ones, our wedding reception will be an adults-only celebration. Children are warmly welcome at the ceremony, welcome lunch and recovery. We’ll be arranging trusted babysitting services during the reception for those who need them — details to follow. Please use the RSVP tab to express your interest. We hope this gives you the chance to relax and enjoy the evening with us!

Do I need a passport or visa?
Answer
Yes, you will need a passport with greater than 6 months validity to travel. Regarding a Visa, the ETIAS Visa is not currently active, but will be a requirement for 2026 travellers from Australia.

Is there anything important I should know about the destination?
Answer
If you are staying in Assos town, the ceremony may be walking distance from your accommodation as the town is very small. Additionally, it is highly recommended to have ample cash on you as the town may not have ATM facilities readily available.

Do you have a gifts registry?
Answer
As we will be travelling after the wedding, we do not have a gifts registry and will not be able to travel with physical gifts. If you would like to bless us with a gift, there will be a wishing well available on the day.

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
Due to space limitations, we are only inviting those specifically named on the invitation. Thank you for your understanding and we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Are phones allowed?
Answer
We will be having an unplugged ceremony - please kindly refrain from using your phone at this time. For the reception, feel free to snap away!

Can I do a day trip from Kefalonia to other islands?
Answer
Yes! We recommend using the Ferry Hopper app to book day trips by ferry to Ithaca and surrounding islands, generally departing from Sami port.
Question
Why can't I book accommodation yet?
Answer
On Booking.com, you may see the dates you want are 'Sold Out' at various hotels. This may be because the bookings are not open, not because the accommodation is sold out. We recommend reaching out directly to the hotel to confirm their availability.
