Yes! We postponed first from August 7, 2020 to June 18, 2021 and then again to May 27, 2022. We think our wedding will be worth the wait and we are so excited to celebrate with you!
Yes, we got married on our original wedding date in August 2020, in a very intimate and abridged Covid-safe outdoor ceremony with just the two of us and our rabbi. We are looking forward to finally having a complete wedding ceremony under the chuppah, and celebrating our marriage with all of our loved ones!
- Because case counts are continuing to rise in Massachusetts, and we know that attending a large event comes with risk, we 100% understand if you no longer feel comfortable attending our wedding. Please let us know if you would like to change your RSVP as soon as you make that decision. - We will have masks available at the wedding and all wedding events, and encourage anyone who would feel more comfortable wearing one to do so. Please feel free to bring your own if you prefer as well! - We are requiring that all wedding guests are fully vaccinated. - We kindly request that you rapid test before each wedding event, and only attend once you have a negative test result. - Of course, please stay home if you test positive, have recently been exposed to Covid, or have any symptoms. If this applies to you and you can no longer make it, know that we will miss you and will plan to celebrate with you individually another time!
Yes! We will be livestreaming our wedding ceremony and a few moments throughout the reception (first dance, toasts, Shabbat blessings). If you end up being unable to join our celebration in person, please feel free to join virtually by following the link below. Our livestream will also be recorded and we can happily send out the recording to whoever requests it. https://evt.live/kossar-kramer-wedding-5-27-22
You have options! - If you are coming from Boston, Salem is a stop on the Newburyport/Rockport MBTA Line and you can either take the shuttle or a ride-share service to the wedding from downtown Salem. Bad news: the MBTA is doing construction on the commuter rail between Boston and Salem right now and there are shuttle buses replacing normal train service, and the buses to Salem leave from Orient Heights (a stop on the blue line) instead of North Station. You can find more information here: https://www.mbta.com/schedules/CR-Newburyport/line. This change unfortunately makes the trip a lot longer than normal, especially with Memorial Day traffic, so please plan accordingly if you are relying on public transportation. - We will have two buses bringing guests to Misselwood from downtown Salem. The buses will leave downtown Salem promptly at 4:30pm and will depart Misselwood at 11pm. One bus will also stop at The Wylie Inn in both directions. The exact downtown Salem bus stop location is 15 Central St., in front of Red's Diner. Our friends Emily and Lev have graciously offered to be bus captains so please contact them if you have any questions or trouble finding the bus stop the day of the wedding. Emily can be reached at (818) 292-3824 and Lev can be reached at (617) 833-2100. - You can drive to Misselwood and there is parking available but we don't recommend this option because traffic can be horrendous on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend on the North Shore, and we don't want anyone to miss the ceremony. If you plan to drive, please drink responsibly and plan accordingly.

The dress code is cocktail attire. Weather-permitting, the ceremony will take place on the lawn, the cocktail hour will take place on a patio, and the reception will take place inside the climate-controlled tent. Both the lawn and patio are in the sun and overlooking the ocean, and it can get a little breezy. Please consider appropriate footwear and layers as needed, and don't forget the SPF!
We want all our guests to feel comfortable so please let us know if you have any special dietary needs on your RSVP and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Our photographer and videographer will be capturing great images and video throughout our ceremony that we will share with you afterward. In this spirit, we also do not have a wedding hashtag. We want to encourage everyone to be fully present in celebrating with us, so please refrain from using your phones.
You will be missed! Please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP no so we can plan accordingly.
Definitely! Please email any wedding questions to Jake at jakeskramer@gmail.com and/or Rachel at rachelkossar@gmail.com.
