We're getting married!

It was the summer of 2019. Isabel was busy at an observatory internship in Santa Barbara (awesome, I know). With the end of a busy week fast approaching, Isabel was wondering what to do for the weekend. As if on queue, an email popped up in her inbox late Thursday evening: An invitation to a movie night (the very next day) organized by her church's Orthodox Young Adult group. She thought about it, remembered that YOLO is a thing, and decided to go. When she showed up the next evening, the group leader welcomed her, and she sat down next to the only other person there. She started conversing with this person, and quickly found out that he was from Bonsall, and attended the same college where she was currently a senior. The event ran its course, with dinner and a movie, and Isabel left shortly after because she was tired (and an introvert haha). She thought briefly of her conversation during the event, but thought nothing of it as she drove off, completely unaware of how much her life was about to change... Three days later, she receives a friend request on Facebook: Jason Heald (the guy from the movie night). She ponders, then accepts his request. Fast forward three more days... and he sends her a funny video through Facebook messenger. She watched it, responded to his message, which lead into an EPIC 4 hour Facebook conversation that lasted until 2am. He asked her out the next day, and the rest is history.

It was the summer of 2019. Jason had just started his first job after college: managing the office of a local refrigerator contractor (exciting stuff, right?). He had recently started going to a different church (a whole story in itself) and signed up for the young adult group mail list. Very soon Jason received his first invitation: a movie night at the end of the following week. Jason totally expected this, because he signed up for the mailing list (to receive mail). What he did not expect, however, was that this movie night would change his life forever. Fast forward to that Friday, Jason heads to the movie night after he finishes work. The youth group leader arrived at the same time with a bunch of Chipotle (nice). Besides Jason, two other guests would show up that night: some guy that barely spoke a word who Jason totally forgot about until writing this; and her... She was so. dang. cool. Jason sat across from her at the table as they were both eating the Chipotle (nice) and got to meet for the very first time the woman he would one day take as his wife. Her name is Isabel, and she is absolutely amazing. Jason was captivated by everything about her. She looked beautiful with absolutely no effort. She was doing an internship at an observatory (how big-brained is that!) and definitely smarter than he was. She was fun, a great storyteller, and had an enchanting laugh. Jason was sold. The rest of the night went by in a flash after meeting her, and it was all Jason could do to not obsessively wonder when they would get to meet next. As Jason got in his car to drive home that night, he thought aloud to himself "Wow, what an incredible girl!" Jason waited a few days before adding Isabel on social media. He then waited a few more days before sliding into her DMs with a funny video he thought she would enjoy (which she did). After a lengthy conversation they agreed to watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail that Saturday. Come Saturday, they would hang out, eat burgers, go to church, pick up dinner, watch the movie, and talk and talk and talk. That day went by so quickly - it felt like they had known each other for ages - and the rest is history!
