It all started back in high school — two kids who had no idea that their hallway hellos would one day turn into a forever kind of love. Through the ups, downs, and Arkansas beating Mizzou a few times, Koryne and Jerod found their way back to each other after college graduation, proving that sometimes love just needs a little time to figure itself out. Our first date was a binge-watching session of The Office — Koryne recited just about every line, and Jerod still isn’t sure if he was impressed or mildly alarmed. Spoiler alert: he stuck around, so we’re calling it a win. We’ve built a life full of game days at Arrowhead (go Chiefs!), downtown KC walks with our sweet pup Bo, and the occasional friendly rivalry: Arkansas vs Mizzou style. Whether we’re screaming at the TV during football season or strolling through our favorite KC spots, there’s no one else we’d rather do life with. The proposal? Classic Jerod. He told Koryne they had dinner plans — at 5:15 (suspiciously early, but okay). A few "wrong turns" later, we found ourselves at the World War II Memorial, one of our special places with the best view of the city we love most. That’s where Jerod got down on one knee and well, you know how the rest goes! Now, we're counting down the days until we say I do, surrounded by the people who’ve cheered us on every step of the way. We can't wait to see you in Kansas City in May 2026!
