Kory and Kaleigh met at a Super Bowl party that was put on by their college ministry FUSE and were in the same friend group until they started talking in the beginning of 2020. As COVID hit, they continued to stay connected and grow their friendship closer and then Kory asked Kaleigh out in August 2020 at the top of the ECU student center parking lot! The past four years of dating they’ve witnessed each other graduate, passing the NCLEX, becoming dog owners, learning how to manage a long distance relationship from Nashville to Raleigh, and now getting engaged. Here’s to many more milestones!!

After church, Kory made “plans” to go golfing with his friend JR. As Kaleigh was waiting for them to finish to go to lunch with Kory, her & her friend Alexis went on a walk at the Neuse River Trail. Lo and behold as Kaleigh & Alexis turned the corner of the trail that connects it to the bridge, Kory was standing there with the biggest smile on his face! & of course Kaleigh said, “YES!!”
