Devon and Kory met in 2022 at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, fully convinced they were living out their Grey’s Anatomy dreams (minus the drama and hospital romances… well, almost). It took Kory about three months to take Devon on a proper date, but once he did, they were inseparable. Six months later, they packed up their things - and their golden retriever, Dom and moved to Denver, Colorado. After a year of mountain adventures and brewery hopping, they decided nothing beats California sunshine and made their way back home to Carlsbad. These days, you can usually find them taking Dom to the beach, trying the newest happy hour spot, cooking dinner together while blasting 2000s hip-hop, or binge-watching all the Bravo shows. And because staying in one place has never really been their thing, they’re now getting ready to take their next adventure to the Bay Area (apparently moving is just part of the relationship). Kory proposed one quiet morning in their apartment, waking Devon up with homemade breakfast, decorations, and Leon Bridges playing in the background. She was still in her pajamas, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From hospital hallways to beach sunsets (and a few moving boxes in between), every chapter has brought them closer together - and they can’t wait to celebrate the next one with you.
