Growing up, Joshua (JZ) was someone that Kortney's brother, Kenny, was friends with. Joshua would come over to help put hay away or take Kenny somewhere. Kenny always wished that JZ and Kortney would begin to date, but that would just be weird. Then the pandemic hit, local fire companies began doing raffles to raise money, and Kortney just so happened to win raffles from the company that Joshua belonged to. With a little help from the internet, Kortney found a way to add Joshua on Snapchat. A few days later, Joshua sent the first snap. Kortney and Joshua became friends, started hanging out, and going on dates. On November 2nd, 2023, at their favorite sign, Joshua got down on one knee. After nine months of planning a wedding, Kortney and Joshua made the spur of the moment decision to elope! On August 2nd, 2024, they were married at Ole Bull Vista, Potter County. The rest is history...
