We met early in high school. It took a while to get to talking because I (korrine) am very shy. I decided to finally talk to him and brought his favorite food (grapes) to school to give him. The container I brought it in, now belongs to us which is kind of cheesy. We dated throughout my (korrine) high school career and through college doing long distance.

5ish years later, we went out to eat for my (korrine) parents anniversary. Matt had his Mom, my parents, my two best friends and ones fiancé, and his best friend who is a photographer all waiting for me. He proposed in front of my all time favorite sunset location and it now has an even more special place in our lives. We were both so nervous and excited that we were laughing, crying, and our hands were shaking. The rose petals that you will see with my flower girl during the ceremony are the same petals from the proposal!
