Love is patient....we are not.

We started out as acquaintances and became fast friends. After numerous deep conversations, a lot of patience and overcoming fears, we made it official. Our church had an upcoming 'wedding getaway' we wanted to attend but being married was an obvious requirement. We had discussed engagement and marriage in the future, but when we were offered a registration to the getaway after joking about eloping and going - we jumped on the opportunity. After making the decision to have a quick ceremony once we arrived at the getaway, Matthew surprised Korine with the engagement. We were married 6/16/23 by a friend in Palm Springs on the site the getaway was taking place. It's been a whirlwind but we know we have found our person in each other and look forward to celebrating our love and marriage with those we love.
