Cam! I met this guy walking home from school 24 years ago... wow, I feel a little old just saying that out loud. He had this huge afro—think our beloved Angie Stone—and after just two minutes of talking, I knew this was a forever kind of friend. We bonded fast: both of us had stepmothers, came from states with all four seasons, had sisters named Tiffany, and most of all—we both loved music. You and your family took me in like one of your own when I was lost, just trying to figure life out—and you never even blinked. I’ll never forget the late-night drives, the deep convos, the endless pranks, discovering new music, and all those Jackass episodes we watched instead of doing homework.
