I have always been a romantic....ever since I can remember I have always dreamed of getting married and having a family. I can even remember in high school telling my young self how I wanted to find a guy in college, date for 2 years, and be married by 25. You know....the plan 95% of girls have. Well, I was what you call a later bloomer and still didnt know how to talk to cute boys in high school and majority of college. This stunted my chances greatly so I didnt really start adventuring into the world of dating until after college. Most of my good friends met, dated, and even married right out of college, all while I was still very single. Fast forward after many years of aggravation and annoyance over the Male species I came across Mr. Ian Dunlap's profile online. I swiped right on him, but only because I thought he was cute. There really wasnt anything else on his profile that told me much about him. Me, being a Christian and wanting someone who shares my faith, found it difficult navigating the dating scene. So, in order to save myself time and heartache, I was upfront with Ian from the start. So much so, that I took the non traditional approach and messaged him first. My expectations were low, but I decided to write "Is there any chance you love Jesus?" He said yes and that he was getting out of church at that very moment. Finally, someone who shared my faith, and was cute to boot! Fast forward and now I am getting ready to marry the love of my life. Ian has put so much fun, countless belly laughs, and unconditional love into my life. Not to mention all the encouragement, advice, and patience. I am eternally blessed that God put us into each others lives and I thank Him often. We look forward to starting this journey in front of the ones we love the most and soaking up each and every memory that the day will bring.
