FAQs

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting. If there is any chance of rain, it will be moved indoors so no need to bring your umbrellas! Our reception will be held indoors. Please keep an eye on the forecast and dress accordingly.

Question

Can I post pictures on social media?

Answer

Of course! Feel free to tag us, and use our hashtag! #WhatsMineIsRoss

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Yes! Kids are absolutely welcome to come. Their names will likely be on the addressed envelopes or listed as "family". Please keep in mind there will be an open bar present and no supervision or daycare for the little ones.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Come ready to party!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail. For photographic purposes, we request that you wear a black attire.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30pm. Please plan to arrive around 5pm. Since it is a Friday, we recommend giving yourself extra time to get there in case of any traffic due to rush hour.

Question

What will parking be like?

Answer

Our venue has free onsite parking.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are at capacity with our venue, which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony will last approximately 30 minutes. Directly following the ceremony, you will head inside for cocktail hour and reception.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "UNPLUGGED" ceremony, which means we ask that all phones and devices be put away and on silent or turned off during the ceremony. Why? We've hired an amazing professional photographer to capture some of the most important moments of our lives, and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone blocking that moment for them to capture. However, before the ceremony begins our officiant will allow guests a few minutes to take any pictures they may want. After the ceremony, feel free to snap away! And we promise to share the ceremony photos from our lovely photographer as soon as we get them!

Question

How do I give a gift?

Answer

Your presence on our special day is our favorite gift in the world! If you wish to give a gift, we have set up a couple cash funds and a small gift registry. You will find all of the details under the registry section listed at the top of the site. If you feel inclined to contribute to a cash fund through this site, they will charge an automatic 2.5% credit card fee. While you are welcome to do so if it is most convenient for you, alternatives with no fees and direct to the couple are Venmo (listed below). Please leave a memo with a note/your name. There will also be a card/gift table at the wedding. Venmo: @gk_ross2023

Question

Do I need to bring cash?

Answer

We are having an open bar so cash is not needed, but may come in handy for any special events that may come throughout the night and for any tips to the hard-working bartenders!
