Together is a beautiful place to be

Brian had started going to a young adults bible study in our area. The bible study decided to throw a socially distanced Birthday party for the Corona Virus as a lighthearted way to invite others to join the bible study. On Sunday March 14th, Kori and Catey went to this gathering and it was the first time Brian and Kori met. During one of the games, Kori and Brian happened to sit next to each other. They realized they shared the same passions and hobbies. When Kori and Catey were on their way home talking about the fun happenings of the night, Kori couldn't deny this feeling that she has met Brian for a reason. On April 15th, Brian asked Kori to go on their very first date. The excitement was so great for the both of them that they met up a day early for ice cream on a pre-first date date. On April 24th, 2021 Brian excitedly asked Kori to officially be his girlfriend. Brian soon after was able to work at America's Keswick that summer and serve in full time ministry with Kori. Kori was enamored with Brian's reverence, discernment, and commitment to the word of God as he lead daily bible studies. His compassion and commitment for his family and friends was admirable. Brian appreciated how Kori's love for the kids had been so evident in the way they interacted together. It became clear God was leading them to a future together. On November 7th, Brian asked Kori to go for a walk to catch the sunset by the bay at LBI. He brought her to Cedar Bonnet Island, a place they had visited before but had been wanting to come back too for some time. Once they got to the opening in the field Kori turned to look at the water and when she looked back Brian was on his knee with ring in his hand. Once again, she obviously said yes. Now, they both couldn't be more excited to start their marriage off surrounded by their amazing family and friends.
