We met for the first time in January of 2015 when Kori came to Dundrum to work with RIOT. It took us two more visits, three years, and the nudge of a mentor before we realized the Lord was leading us into something much deeper than friendship.

I hung up the phone with Kori and said "See ya in a week" - little did she know that at 5am the next morning I left for Dublin, scheduled to board a plane across the water with the clear intent of asking Kori to marry me. When I arrived in Dulles I met Kori's mum who drove me to West Virginia, up the mountain, then down the lane to Kori's house. I was nervous. Like, this girl is the most beautiful girl I've ever met, she loves the Lord, and has challenged me in a way that's led me to Jesus time and time again. I knew that I wanted that for the rest of my life, so when I walked round the corner of her house and surprised her, I took her by the hand and told her all of those things... "... Kori Adda Crawford, will you marry me?" The joy that filled my heart when she said yes. I can't wait to partner with her and serve Him shoulder to shoulder.
