He was the new personal training manager and she was the fitness instructor in the small corner studio. With few words exchanged in passing at work, all it took was her mocking him with the name "beefy-cake". After an evening of messaging back and forth and a provoking discussion of one day "walking the dogs, or something..." he insisted on a lunch date the next day, of course she un-hesitantly agreed. Lunch turned into dinner (that night), and dinner turned into the rest of our lives. We haven't spent a day without seeing each other since that day August 2, 2018, and just months later we knew we wouldn't have it any other way.
