Melanie and her dad have a close relationship, it brings her great joy to know her first love excepts and approves of her forever love.

When Alysena first met Melanie she welcomed her with open arms. Melanie always described her first introduction as nervously wonderful. Melanie absolutely adores sena and is so grateful that she gets to call her "Mother in Law". Korey cares for his mother deeply as the only boy of his parents he always makes sure his mom is always good. Even though Korey is getting married Alysena will always be his first love.

Patrick also known to Melanie as "Patty Cake", that's her nick name she calls him, he allows it even though he hates it which shows the kind of man he is. When he first met Melanie, he made her feel comfortable right away without no hesitation. Now today they have a non stop joking, playful, loving relationship. The love he has for his boy is unmeasurable, he's always excited to see his boy even from when he was an baby, showing all his friends his son. Patrick always has love in his heart for those around him and ready to have a great with those who are willing.

Bria is Melanie’s best friend. We also met Bria at Utica college, she was Melanie’s roommate and been in her life since the day they met! Abby is the best friend of Melanie, she is also close to Korey. We met Abby in Utica College, at first Abby did not gravitate toward Melanie at first but Melanie was determined to make her be her friend the rest is history. Melanie considers Abby more than a best friend a sister and Korey also admires Abby and the friendship they have.

Korey’s youngest sister. The baby of the family Tara is the most outspoken one of all the siblings. If she does not like something you’re doing she will make it known. But besides that she loves her family and would do anything for the ones she loves.
