Hotel
We recommend the Double Tree in downtown South Bend, as it is directly across the street from the wedding & reception venue. We have a block of rooms reserved, and can add additional if you are notified that the block has become full. You are able to book one or two nights at the discounted rate.
Train
The South Shore Line runs from Chicago directly to the South Bend airport. From Midway, take the Orange Line to Chicago's downtown loop; from O'Hare, take the Blue Line to the loop. Then take the South Shore Line from Millennium Station to the South Bend airport. The wedding venue and hotel we've booked are a few minutes drive away!
Flight
If you are flying into Chicago, then renting a car/driving, we recommend flying into Midway. It is on the southern part of the city, and significantly closer to South Bend.
Flight
Major cities fly directly to South Bend International Airport; please note these flights tend to be more expensive than flying into nearby cities. For cost, flying to Chicago and transiting is suggested.
