We are happy that you want to capture memories, but we are asking guests to refrain from taking photos during the processions and renewal ceremony so you can experience the moment with us. Our photographer will be there to get those special moments that we will share with everyone afterward and on social media. Please join us in making this a truly "unplugged" ceremony. Feel free to use your phone the rest of the evening once the cocktail hour begins.
NO! There will be more food than we ever imagined, and pretty much guaranteed something for everyone! From appetizers to a BBQ buffet, to cupcakes and an ice cream sundae bar, and even late night loaded nachos! You will not leave hungry!
Ladies, please keep your shoes sensible! You will be walking on grass and barn floors and, while the venue is handicapped accessible, you may also wish to use the staircase off the balcony. Please, no broken ankles!
Yes! There will be a three hour open bar with complimentary bar service during dinner, with the end of the evening being a cash bar (so get your drinks in early!)
In addition to our awesome DJ and dance floor, there will be a fire pit (with smores!) and lawn games. Please also take a few moments to admire the beautiful historic property!
The venue has a large parking lot, however, if you plan on taking advantage of that open bar, we are currently working out the final details for a school bus shuttle service to and from the three hotels listed. More information coming soon!
While we love your children, this will be a 21 and over event with the exception of those directly involved in the ceremony.
If your RSVP page says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
The ceremony is set for outdoors, but the smaller of the two wedding barns on-site is setup as the back-up in case of inclimate weather. The reception itself will be in the main barn and on the covered deck, so we're on rain or shine. The 2021 Farmer's Almanac is predicting decent weather – so we're hopeful, but prepared for the unpredictable changes in NY Fall weather.
We want everyone to be as comfortable and safe as possible. Masks will be optional, we would prefer guests that are not fully vaccinated wear them for their own health and for the well-being and safety of those around them – but we are currently on an honor system. The venue operates according to local and state guidelines and these rules may be subject to change according to those set by the time of the event, but they are not currently mandating masks to be worn. We will try to keep everyone informed as we approach the event date of any changes or new restrictions.
The dinner is a self-service buffet style spread. Please use your best judgement and etiquette for everyone's safety. Please wash your hands thoroughly, utilize hand sanitizer provided at the food stations as needed, cover your mouth when sneezing and social distance.
